Apple Launches Battery Cases For Its Latest iphones (XR, XS, XS Max)


Today, Apple launches battery cases for its latest iphones (XR, XS, XS Max). It has been rumoured since last year, as its users have been patiently waiting to have an upgrade to iPhone battery life.

It’s no longer a rumour, Apple battery cases have arrived and they can be purchased on the Apple Store website according to Joanna Stern on Twitter.

Here are hints on Apple’s new battery cases.

— It’s available for Apple’s 2018 iPhone models ( XR, XS, and XS Max).
— All 3 in 1 pack sold for $129, regardless of whether you’re choosing one for an iPhone XR, XS or XS Max)
— Cases are offered in both black & white silicon designs.
— It’s not downward compatible (can’t be used on iPhone X or older models).
— It’s compatible with Qi-certified charges (wireless charge).
—USB-C PD compatible charger (along with a USB-C to lightning cable).
— Expected better battery life, with up to 21 hours of internet use on the iPhone XS, 20 hours on the XS Max, and 22 hours on the XR.

However, without the battery case, hours of internet use are up from 12hours, 13 hours and 15 hours respectively.
