The much talked about iphone X launch has come and gone. But what did Apple box in the iphone X which they say we should call iphone “10”.

Apple iPhone X smartphone was launched in September 2017. The phone comes with a 5.80-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1125 pixels by 2436 pixels. Apple iPhone X price  starts at about $999( about #375,000) for 64GB storage.

The Apple iPhone X is powered by hexa-core Apple A11 Bionic processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Apple iPhone X packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 7-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Apple iPhone X runs iOS 11 and is powered by a 2716mAh non removable battery. It measures 143.60 x 70.90 x 7.70 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 174.00 grams.

The Apple iPhone X is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer.

The iphone X also uses facial recognition to unlock the phone. About 2 weeks after its release, Bkav,a software security company based in Vietnam released a video where it used 3D printed mask to unlock the  iphone X. I guess the iphone X does not know the difference between a real human face and a 3D printed face, it just recognizes “face”, period.
